When you learn to drive in a shorter period than usual is classed as an intensive driving course.
A typical intensive driving course involves 6 or more hours of driving in one week, and in many cases, a learner can undertake 6 hours of driving just in one day.
Intensive driving courses are no longer than 2 weeks, and in most cases, a learner undertakes 30 to 42 hours of driving in a week.
Semi-intensive courses can be between 1 to 12 weeks, and in general, 1 lesson is no longer than 3 hours.
Non-intensive or conventional driving courses could take between 6 months to 1 year before you sit the test, and lessons are usually no longer than 2 hours.
Saves Time
If you want to get the licence in a couple of weeks, then an intensive course is perfect for you.
Good for forgetful people
Short gaps between lessons make it easier to remember the skills you learned in the last lesson, and regular practice helps to retain the information. So intensive driving course will be helpful.
It can be tiring and nerve-racking, and sometimes even when you want to reschedule, you won't be able to, because of the availability of a driving instructor or the next date for the driving test.
NOPE
Can a teacher guarantee an A* for every student in A Levels?
It's not always about the teacher/instructor, Mr. Dundee couldn't make another Md. Ali.
If you've been offered a guarantee to pass the intensive driving course, please read the terms & conditions carefully.
YES
We offer intensive and semi-intensive driving courses as well as conventional driving courses .
Take an assessment lesson with the instructor if you can't decide which one is best for you, and your driving instructor can advise if you should go for a conventional, intensive or semi-intensive course before you commit.
If you'd like to brush up on your skills before the test, a 10-hour intensive driving course is suitable for you. If you are a confident beginner, 30-hour intensive driving lessons are the right choice, and if you consider yourself a little nervous or a slow learner, go for the 45-hour course.
One lesson can be planned between 2.5 to 6 hours, depending on how soon you would like to complete the course and taking your comfort, health & safety into consideration.
We don't offer classroom-based training. We advise downloading the app by TSO(The Stationary Office) from Google Play or Apple App Store and answer all the questions covered in 14 different topics in the app and practice the hazard perception mock tests, and keep practising until you have got all correct and you can pass the theory in no time.
We always advise passing the theory before you spend money on driving lessons, whether it's an intensive or conventional driving course. Please be advised that you can not book the driving test until you pass the theory test.
Yes, we can book the driving test for you at an additional booking fee, but we don't book the theory test.
That's entirely up to you if you like to start from home, work, school, college, a friend's place or anywhere else. Your instructor will pick you up and drop you off at the same place.
Please visit the price & offer page on our website for information about current promotions and charges.
Fast track course fee does include the DVSA fee to book a driving test, but Intensive and Semi-Intensive course fees do not include it.
